With the large flakes that formed the knife, it's either Late Archaic (Etley would be my best guess), or even Pickwick. The piece is a heavily patinated Burlington,4&1/8" by 1&1/2", with a center thickness of almost 5/8" (measured on a stack). Note the tip was salvaged into a scraper edge, fine small pressure chips that have work polish. The other corner of the tip is deliberately flattened and is also work polished. The big knife had a number of ancient uses, it's patina testifies to its age, and every detail is lifetime guaranteed authentic. The find comes from around Decatur, Illinois. Shipping is $6.00 with checks, cash, or M.O>s welcomed. Sorry ,I do NOT use paypal--Roy a.
