Out of the Warrick county--Spencer County, Indiana, area--hornstone, 3&1/2" by 1&3/16" and "knife thickness" of slightly over 3/8"--stout hafted knife, definitely. Some previous collector catalog numbered 401 on one face, but who & when that was was 'before my time'--great patina, a little damage on a corner of the base shows more recently exposed hornstone, you can study overall patination in that farm damaged spot. $8.00 shipping, checks, cash, or M.O>s are the only ways I take payments--Roy A.
