Made of a tan Jasper material (see the brown cortex on the reverse side) 3" by 1&1/2", out of a Tipton, Indiana, based collection. Black speckles of mineral deposit are all over the blade--made by an Early Archaic Culture, a rounded base Cobbs Knife; these were the same peoples who made Dovetails and Lost Lakes. The blade edges show the bevel sharpening that was their touch-up technique--in maybe its last use there was an impact fracture to the tip edge--one side only--that thin edge flake they didn't work back to a cutting edge. At a max thickness of 5/16", the Cobbs is just well made (crafted), shows every sign you could hope for of age--read that as "real, period". Shipping is $8.00, checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
