Shipping is included with the listed price on this Windmill Country (northern Indiana) Benton County point--Adena or Late Archaic Stemmed (leading into the Adena Phase), 3&5/16" by 1&3/16". Medial ridge is fairly thick for Adena (which is why I think it's more closely related to the Late Archaic transitional points at 9/16"--still fits in a display case perfectly. the finder--and his name will be sent when the point is shipped, was downsizing, he sold off some nice personal finds--I left the 'glue spot' where the point had been secured in a display frame (water based glue & a bit of foam rubber). As best I can identify the flint it's "Kenneth Chert" from N.W. Indiana. The tip is intact, but shows heavy use as a gouge--or buffing tool, excellent patina overall. I welcome checks, cash, or M..O.s but do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
