Shipping included on this 1&9/16" Osceola-type dart point from Edwards County, Illinois--heavily ground base so you know it's Early archaic in origin--flint is Kaolin Flint, slightly translucent. It looks like there was the smallest of modern chips on the very tip--looks 'unpatinated' on that very tip-of-the-tip--note that one basal corner was glued-un, so it'd appear Mr Reid must have dropped the piece--price reflects the damage.
