A Warrick County, Indiana drill, Early Archaic Greenbrier Culture is how I'd 'type' the piece based on those small kick-out basal auricles (and a little bit of lateral edge grinding). The flint is Sonora Flint, I assume, as there aren't many flints with hematite color (maroon and tan).Length is 2&3/16" by 5/8". The piece was in a collection that the collector's son said had been assembled back in the 1940's & 1950s--with a story behind it that will go with the shipped piece--authentic, and guaranteed real, period. Shipping is $6.00. I welcome checks or money orders, but do not use payment services (like paypal)--Roy A.
