Twenty or slightly more years back I bought some "misc. creek finds" from a friend who'd 'cherry picked' a collection out of (mostly) Hopkins County, Kentucky, Pond River and assorted side creeks. If you ever traced the Pond on a map, well, good luck figuring where he hunted, I've NEVER seen a stream twist & turn as many times as the Pond. The longest is a snap base blade--not really sure what it started as, but even with the base snapped it's still 3&1/8" by 1&7/16"--must have been big, and it also must have been reused after the base break, you can see a salvage of the tip for a 'secondary purpose'. A couple of the small cornernotched dart points are only 15/16", look to be made from creek gravels. The really patinated hornstone stemmed point is 2&3/8", shows it survived (mostly) a campfire, clear heat pop-outs. One last to mention is the drill--perforator form, 1&13/16"--being snap-base it's not possible to tell what point form it was before salvage, but it definitely had a 'second life'. ALL are guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $7.00, checks or M.O>s are welcomed, but please note I do not take electronic payments (like paypal)--Roy A.
