Nicked-away barbs aside, the basic point, a Pinetree Cornernotch, is one finely made artifact, decent basal edge grinding It. It shows that 'extruded tip' of the heavily sharpened southern Indiana Pinetree points, what you expect from the Pinetree point culture. History-wise all I can provide is that the piece was from one of the Indiana counties along the Ohio River--there was no tag attached to the 2&1/16" by 1&1/4" piece. Telling you where I got the piece is about all the history I can provide--but what I CAN do is give the piece a lifetime guarantee it's real--a no brainer. Shipping is $6.00, checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
