Sizable two-toned Hornstone Late Archaic point, this Hebron measures 2&7/16" by 1&7/8"--7/16" in the hafting area, so you read those numbers as 'much larger blade'--as first made. The Late Archaic hunter didn't narrow the blade much, but what was the original length, you have to wonder. Last in the collection or Norman Reid, Indian Hill Museum (his homeplace was called Indian Hill), the point is marked as being found in Richland County, Illinois, 1966. There is something written under the date, but it's something other than the "N.Reid" Norman signed most of his finds--I can't quite make out what was written. Patina is great, there is light grinding to the stem edges, no notable damage. Every detail is guaranteed authentic. Shipping comes with the price, and checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
