Pardon this "aside", but the "Troll of Arrowheads.Com" has been adding this piece to cart each day--his ISP address is coming up in the American Cancer society building in Atlanta, GA--do they know you're being a pain in the a.. on the internet???
Strong basal edge grinding, a decent bevel on each (left side) blade face--there is some old wear on one barb end, a little nick on the edge near the tip. No one wants to unwrap a surprise, so whatever damage there is, you read it here--you don't want the piece due to those places of Early Archaic wear? No problem--maybe someone else will. The point is from an Allen County--Ft.Wayne--Indiana area estate, in my collection for several years now. Is the flint some form of Indiana Green--Attica Flint--that's my working assumption--decent gloss to the flint, good color and inclusions. The 1&13/16" by 1&7/16" Lost Lake is guaranteed authentic in every detail. I may have the name of the estate in my records, I'll include it with the shipped point if so. Shipping is $5.00, checks, cash, or M.O>s are welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
