3&1/4" by 1&89/16", out of a Union County, Illinois, collection. There is no basal edge grinding, so I'm assuming the piece is a Kirk Cornernotch. Patina, particularly in the notches, looks good, mineralized--one blade edge shows work polish and mineral deposits--the other edge looks clean, like it was scrubbed. Right there you have the extent of what my examination of the piece showed. The flint is a very hard material, almost a chalcedony (gloss)--identifying it (the flint type) is outside my areas of experience. Shipping comes with the price, checks or M.O.s are the two welcomed payment forms. Sorry, I don't use paypal--Roy A.
