This is a nice colorfull jade vase with lid. The Little guy on top is showing you how far he will go to please you. He is bent over backwards and smiling. Heavily patinated with cleaving veins,differential weathering, exposure crystals, dissolved pits and diffusive markings. The exposure crystals cover the outside and on the inside. There are cleaving veins all over this piece. Cleaving veins happen with age and are not in the jade originally when it was carved.
There are 4 dragons one on each side.A square base that is hollowed out to cut down on the weight and they probably made something out of the large chunk they took out of the inside and the bottom square part.There are also 2 rams heads one on each side.This is an excellant piece well made and well patinated from the ground. 9-3/4" x 4-3/4" about.
