A Jade alw or as they(chinese collectors) a knot loosener. This is made from a beautifull jade material totally translucent and heavily patinated . Something I think the flint collectors will appreciate is the formation of ferris oxcide deposits all over the piece. I do not see these to often on jade but this piece has it. Also having the characteristic of being faded one side more than the other.Enough to where it should be visible in the first 2 photo's. This is an exceptional piece,the workmanship, the material, and the absolute patination make this a piece to have. It will surely draw a smile on a person that appreciates ancient pcs. that show the age of the piece. The buyer will not be disapointed in adding this one to his collection.
