$45.00 each.These are wei glass 1800's authentic some are calcium encrusted (some have been cleaned) The animals,monkey,dog,pig,chicken and rooster. These are from a set of 12 that represent the chinese zodiac. The other 4 are of women. 2 are still very much encrusted with calcium and have not been cleaned. 4-1/2" to 5-1/2" tall. the rooster being the tallest.The glass is strikingly colorfull and full of bubbles with a pontel on the back of each one where it was snapped off from the remaining glass bulk. Excellant craftsmanship and fine detail, yet simple in their construction. As compared to other glass from other countries these glass makers really knew their craft and is excelled as art. I have seen nothing that compares to these.especially when you consider the time you have to make one before the glass hardens.
