The first thing people ask me is why did you buy 25 BROKEN Pieces? Answer to Study. Second question they ask is how much did you pay for them? Answer is 300.00. They Exclaim, "YOU MUST BE KIDDING!" First of all, one man found all 25 Gorgets. Thousands of hours of and hundreds of miles of walking and looking. The provenance is worth the money but the most valuable thing is to STUDY the pieces. The first 2 years I collected, I bought $3,000.00 worth of MODERN REPRODUCTION gorgets. Today when I look at them, they are unquestionably MODERN. I now know because I study the good stuff.
