This is a really nice old bird with good provenience. It was found in Scioto County Ohio and from the collection of life-long avocational archaeologist Norman Grogitsky. Norman was a pioneer in Maumee Valley and SE Michigan archeology. This Bird was catologued as #5273 in his collection. The Birdstone is also pictured in the Prehistoric American Birdstone book on page 134.
