The five are some 'selected for better quality' Riverton Culture points from S.W. Indiana--much the same as the vast majority of the Late Archaic-into-Woodland Era Rivertons, they're made of river cobble cherts/ Jasper. These people were farmers, they didn't often travel to get better quality flints, they stayed along the rivers (Ohio River and Wabash River in this case), found 'workable' small river rocks for their dart points--the bow and arrow hadn't been invented during the time the culture thrived--seems odd to think bow 'technology' hadn't made it here as it'd been used in the Middle East for thousands of years before these points were made. Undoubtedly there's a good explanation for that, but it is what it is. The longest of these is just under 1&3/16"--they're both real, and good examples of the varied point styles the Rivertons used. Shipping is $9.00 (USPS shipping increases AGAIN this weekend). Checks or M.O.s are how I receive payments. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
