Ex Norman Reid collection, most likely Edwards County, Illinois--as was much of his self-found material--a Hardin point,1&1/2", either made of Kaolin Chert or a river gravel that looks a lot like Kaolin--basal ground, some bevel sharpening. The Cornernotch, a MUCH sharpened-down Stilwell Point is 1&1/8", in the Attica Chert (Indiana Green) family--really well made. There was some provenance written in a much faded red ink on one face--can't make out what it once said, but Norm's initials (NR) are on the Hardin at the base. Both are real. period. Shipping is $8.00, checks or M.O.s are how I welcome-in payments. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
