Up for sale is a very unique specimen of a Middle to Late Archaic era Savannah River type point that has been anciently resharpened into a knife form. This artifact shows very noticeable wear and use on one side of the blade; causing a noticeable incurvature. This artifact is made from a beautiful quartzite material. It measures 2 5/16" long x 1 1/8" wide. This was recovered from the Yadkin River Valley of North Carolina. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
