Up for sale is a unique specimen of an Early Archaic Palmer type point that is made from a beautiful quartzite material. The artifact looks to have substantial wear use and an incurvature on one blade edge which is indicative of knife use. This point measures in at 1 7/16" long x 15/16" wide. The artifact was recovered from the Yadkin River Valley of North Carolina. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
