Up for sale is a a nice specimen of a Middle to Late Archaic era Halifax Side Notch type point. The artifact is made from a beautiful quartzite material. It displays very well, but does have a tip ding. The artifact measures 2" long x 7/8" wide.....giving it a nice size. The artifact was recovered from the Yadkin River Valley of North Carolina. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
