Found some forty plus years back along one of the western Kentucky lakes, Barkley, from the way the older couple described where they were shore walking--back then, the Corp of Engineers actually 'encouraged' people to try their luck finding arrowheads...you don't get to do that today, lol. Different mindset (on their part). This Hardin is very slightly under 2&1/4" by 1&5/16"--the chert has to be in the Dover--Ft. Payne Chert family, but far more red. The stem edges are well ground, the base notched to fit the handle used for the knife--easier to notch the flint than to saw-away a hard knot on either a wood or antler handle--the tip does have one minor use-made chip. Patina is there, the piece is guaranteed real. Shipping is $8.00 with cash, checks, or M.O.s welccomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
