Out of Spencer County, Indiana, a base that is similar to some Early Archaic point forms (Kirk, Cornernotch, and Lost Lake) but shows no basal edge grinding--none, it's clearly a Woodland point, Hopewell,2&13/16" by 1&5/8", only 1/4" max thickness. There is very slight tip-to-base curvature so the preform/ large flake followed the curve of a hornstone nodule, a Harrison County, Indiana, source, color is what turns up in Harrison County creeks. There is considerable staining to the blade, looks like a creek find--especially the tip, an iron staining. Every detail is guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $9.00 (sorry, post office rates, not a lot I can do about the shipping cost these days). I welcome checks or money orders, but do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
