A Sangamon County, Illinois, Dixon, a glossy Crescent Quarry Chert,2&1/4" by 1&5/16", only 1/4" MAX thickness. The blade shows a number of ancient sharpenings, but still a well made blade and great barbs. Note the stem is practically serrated--not by accident, some Woodland knapper wanted to make sure his handle bindings didn't slip--I've seen countless stemmed points, but never noticed a stem with "grip-tight" serrations. Makes sense. Great patina, but there is a small ding (use made) on the very tip. Guaranteed real, period. Shipping is $7.00, checks, cash, or M.O>s are welcomed, but I do not use paypal-type payment services--Roy A.
