When there is a bit of a snap base, I generally opt to call the point an Eva--that "Middlish Archaic" culture went in BIG for snap base points...but those long, well formed barbs make me think this one is a Wade Point, slightly later, and is similar to the Buck Creek point types. Found along the Ohio river, Spencer County, Indiana--assuming I have the frame labeled correctly--Hornstone, 1&3/4" by slightly over 1&1/4"--thin, only 1/4" (or less) except for a small stack on the hafting area (where you'd expect a point to be thickest). The material is a two-tone hornstone--not a cortex, just different shades of flint in one blade--GREAT patina. The stem looks like it was longer, suffered a partial break--that's opposed to a piece which was knapped to the bottom edge of a starting flake, and insufficient flint was available to fashion a full stem.
