An interesting piece, ex D. Webster (finder) some decades back, Posey County, Indiana...thought it was lost until my daughter located the hard shell padded case where it's long been stored--years. The artifact was anciently cut from a pottery bowl of a Mississippian shell tempered vessel, the edges smoothed at that time. Ask me what they "Did with it"--I wouldn't have more than a guess--and even that would likely be off-the-mark. The 1250--1400BP maker/ salvager thought VERY highly of the fragment, that's obvious.
Okay--"other stuff"...I'm taking a step back from my store, dealing with some health issues, (cardiac) triple bypass (at least), so I won't be driving for a month, they tell me, won't be able to ship--easiest way is to have everything on my store marked as "Pending sale". It may be that in a couple weeks I'll feel like posting some "Display only" listings just to be involved--we'll see. Life is a "What could go wrong?", you deal with it as it comes. Best to all...Roy Autry
