Nice drill, out of Daviess County, Indiana, made from Harrison County (Indiana) hornstone. The drill is side notched, not "T" based, and with little basal edge grinding was likely a Mid Archaic--Late Archaic form of side notch--not a Big Sandy as those would have had basal edge grinding. Length is slightly under 1&3/4" by nearly 1". The tip shows a "V" shape for drill work, it hasn't been ground smooth by excessive use; that "V" shape is somewhat like a modern drillbit in that regard--ready for the 3500--6,000BP user to work. Lifetime guaranteed real, period. Shipping is $5.00, checks or M.O.s are welcomed. Sorry I do not use paypal--Roy A.
