Even with an ear damaged, this is one fine artifact. Found many years ago in Humphreys County TN at the mouth of the Duck River.
This is nice because the "tallies" signify damage or loss. Even though damaged, I would give it G8.5. Please enjoy viewing this fine Artifact.
Zoom up and look closely at the use wear in the holes. Pay close attention and you can see how it was tied on thousands of years ago. Obviously, the Native American this belonged to used this gorget for long period of time.
