The family who had this group had Tennessee & or Southern Kentucky roots--the materials (cherts) used include Ft. Payne and Tennessee-type Hornstone, so they're pretty easy to type as western Tennessee finds. The cornernotch (with some basal damage from Early Archaic Period, 7500BO usage) is the oldest and the longest at 2&11/16" (for scale)--the thick based Motley reads the same on my caliper. Three snap base points are grouped together--long enough (each of them), they wouldn't have been cast-off, not as long as the blade was still usable. All but a couple of the points have site designation, but without a 'key', I have no way to tell if these are for particular sites, or counties...the family wasn't too 'forthcoming'. Old story there, but the flints, the styles, the patination, all add up to authentic pieces. Shipping is $10 due to the weight, checks or M.O.s are the two ways to buy the group.
