A Tennessee Pickwick that ended up in an anonymous estate sale in N.C. Indiana (the sellers not wishing to be identified, according to the auction flyer)--the Pickwick in with a box of mostly common flint (no offense to those points, but they "ain't Horse Creek")--that flint is a Hardin Co., Tennessee and areas to the south, Mississippi counties, a fairly localized distribution flint--but DARN colorful, one of the premier collectible cherts of America. The point measures slightly over 2&1/2" (not quite to 2&9/16") by 1&5/8". The thickest spot my caliper measures is slightly over 3/8" thickness--measured on a very small stack. The patina is there, the point guaranteed authentic in every detail. Wish I could provide more provenance but (at times) a guarantee of authenticity is all I can provide--and a guarantee that if sent to Jerry Dickey for a COA, it'll receive one. Please note that offer is strictly for Jerry--this flint is from his home area, he knows it best. Shipping: I will pay the cost. Payment: two methods only, checks or M.O.s. I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
