Shipping is included with the price on this Edmonson County, Kentucky, Kirk--a really, really well knapped blade, but a couple of dings on the stem--they keep the price reasonable. The slightly auriculate base shows some (not heavy) grinding, blade edges are the four-sides-sharpening Kirk knappers favored---a 'distinguishing trademark' to show the piece wasn't Lost Lake Culture. Did Quadra-facial sharpening offer an advantage over bevel sharpening? Guess you'd have to find a deer carcass along a road and try both knife types to see which worked best...I'm SURE someone HAS. Length is 2&5/8" by 1&3/16", only 5/16" max thickness. Good patina, but a couple of the base chips sure look like "handling damage" from the finder's family--it happens. I welcome checks, cash, or M.O.s, but do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
