A Lost Lake that's been in my collection a long, long time, Indiana Hornstone, slightly over 2&5/16" by 1&1/4"--a thin 1/4" profile at the thickest spot. The piece is a Posey County, IN, find, bevel sharpened on each left cutting edge. The basal edge is well ground--one corner shows both an ancient use-made nick (fully patinated) and a farming-made corner chip that shows the dark gray of modern times. One barb is long, one shows some Early Archaic 'touch up' to an edge ding--the spot shows it goes back to the 7500BP hunter reworking a barb, it's nothing modern. The tip is worth a note--almost a burin it's so sharp, so work as a perforator may have been a secondary use of the point. Bice piece of flint, guaranteed authentic in every detail. Shipping is $7.00, and payment can come in by check, cash, or M.O>. Sorry, i do not use paypal-type payments--Roy A.
