A decent Hornstone Lost Lake from the far S.W. corner of my state--Posey County--just under 2&5/8" by 5/16", appropriate thicckness at 5/16"--just means the piece is 'balanced'. There is considerable patination to study, but a couple dings to keep the price reasonable: the side of the tip has an ancient use-made impact fracture, the one basal corner shows the Early Archaic knife was very slightly 'touched up": knives were used, knives were sharpened--check out the bevel sharpening, you'll get an idea how many times the knife edges were sharpened--really good left hand bevels. Basal grinding is excellent, the base-center cleft. Good piece. Shipping is $6.00, checks or M.O>s only--Roy A.
