Mini Drill / Expedient Arrow Tip

This was a personal find by me on a Coastal Rangia Clam Shell Midden in Galveston County, Texas.
This was on the league City side of Clear Creek at a site we called "The Wharf Site" For many years the shell midden was eroding out of the high bank with each passing wave or high tide. I was collecting like pottery sherds one day as I did weekly and this tiny point was sitting in the shell at the water line.
With the lack of any tool stone available within 100 miles it was not uncommon to find expedient points made of sharpened bone and leftover scraps of chert debitage.
