Out of northwest Indiana, Carroll County, made of a cherty form of Indiana Green Flint (Attica Flint), , bifurcated and deeply serrated. With those deep-cut serrations I'd type the piece as a LeCroy point, but if there are any of the other thirteen names for bifurcated base points that work for you, go right ahead--the styles all come from the very early part of the Early Archaic Period, 'regional variations' (like Fox Valley or St Albans), some fit, some have small variations (in the point style) that don't fit. LeCroy points are known for some major serration of the blade, that's why I prefer that classification for the style. Length is 2& by 7/8", 5/16" max thickness. Patina everywhere, lifetime guaranteed authentic. Shipping is $5.00, checks, cash, or M.O.s welcomed. Sorry, I do not use paypal--Roy A.
