HUGE 5.5" QUARTZITE SAVANNAH RIVER NORTH CAROLINA
Up for sale is an absolutely huge specimen of a Middle to Late Archaic era Savannah River that is made from a beautiful Quartzite material. This was undoubtedly used as a knife...it measures 5 1/2" long x 2" wide. It was recovered from Mitchell county, North Carolina, around the Toe River . This is from the ex Jim Humpey collection. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
