Up for sale is a very unique knife made from Rhyolite. This is either a Ledbetter or Pickwick type based on the asymmetrical form. What makes this unique is the blades on this have a very exaggerated incurvate shape....especially one side. The deeper of the two incurvatures may have been an an ancient resharpening from a blade damage or simply a spokeshave to give a different cutting angle on the knife. Please note this was broken in half  glued together. The artifact is nice sized measuring 4 5/8" long x 1 7/8" wide. The artifact was recovered from Lexington county, South Carolina. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout, so rest assured of its authenticity.
