Up for sale is a fine specimen of a Paleo Stemmed Lance. This was recovered from Coshocton county, Ohio by Randy Mullett and is out of the ex Dean Richard collection. This measures just a 16th shy of 3" long and is 1 1/4" wide. The artifact has a nice needle tip and a ground base. I believe it to be made from Pipe creek chert or possibly a mottled Coshocton Gray; either way this is a fantastic artifact. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
