This perfect specimen of a Madison Mississippian point is 200 to 1,500 years old. The shape is absolutely beautiful, very well made in every way. The base is concave and smooth. The material is a creamy light gray chert. Madisons are found in the Central U.S., this one is similar to the ones found in the Cahokia Mounds in Madison County. Similar Titterington form points are listed for $325 to over $1,000 in Overstreet’s arrowhead guide. Priced to sell!
