Look at the pictures of this knife. The COA picture makes it look lighter than it is. This is an interesting and unique piece partly due to the variation in the material which is Grey Fossiliferous Chert. It is from the Mississippian period and from the location Flint Lake, Mid-West. It is a medium sized, bi-faced oval knife. The age is likely 400-700 years old. It is considered museum quality due to the color, workmanship and the four sharp beveled edges. It will be a nice addition to anyone’s collection.
