I've seen & collected quite a few Uniface Knives over my collecting years, but this one is a "First"--an edge, a hornstone rind like a "Spall Knife", but a tail...or perforator, hard to say, that distinguishes the piece. Made of Hornstnone, 3&7/8" by 1&1/4", 1/2" thick at the rounded end, thinner at where the piece was adapted for either hafting or perforating--field dirt still in place from the Hickman County, Kentucky, origin--your choice if you decide to clean the piece--I like the patina the dirt gives. Shipping is $9.00, checks, cash, or M.O>s ONLY--no paypal-type services--Roy A.
