Up for sale is a very nice specimen of a Morrow Mountain type 2 point. This artifact has the classic contracting base associated with the type. Morrow Mountain type projectiles are from the Middle Archaic era. It measures 1 9/16" long x 7/8" wide. The artifact was recovered from the Yadkin River Valley of North Carolina. There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
