81813--Seven Indiana points

Seven mixed point styles and tools from counties along the Ohio River, S.W. Indiana--the longest is 2&5/16", a dark flint that looks more like Sonora Flint that our hornstone--the tip was use dulled as a scraper, there is 'rub polish' from it's Early archaic usage. The Early Archaic Dovetail was partially converted from a knife form into a drill---at least until they his a stack in the flint, that stopped the salvage attempt, the piece then has work polish on the flat end (scraper?)--they made use of almost every scrap of flint, they had to. The LeCroy has what appears to be heat damage to tip and basal lobe. The Adena was reduced to a Hafted Scraper. The cornernotched Palmer had a strong tip impact fracture, likely turned into a perforator after that happened. All are real, simply tools that survived. Shipping is $9.00, checks or M.O>s are how I welcome-in payments. Sorry, I do not use paypal-type services--Roy A.
