North Texas Wells
This is a Wells made from a North East Texas Cobble, as found in the Piney Woods. The material is yellowish / tan with a red tip on the base. It was heat treated and used to it's current size.
The base is ground all around. The point is solid and steeply beveled.
The Wells form is from the Early Archaic thru the Middle Archaic periods.
