An Eastern STemmed that came through Vigo County, Indiana, enough creek stain on the Burlington Chert to totally change the color of the white flint--see one tiny edge chip that shows the contrast--a new chip that allows you to compare & contrast color/ patina. The Early Archaic point measures 3&1/4" by 1", slightly over 5/16" at the thickest spot near the hafting area (which should be the thickest spot on a hafted knife, naturally). The wear, the great patina shows the age of this very old knife. A use-made flat spot on the very tip is the only 'damage', a clean snap-off--small, but it's there, and I will never sell something without noting any damage, ancient or modern--you lose friends, you lose customers if you do something that unethical--ain't worth it. Note this being an Early Archaic point, there is edge grinding to the stem--as there should be--it's not heavy, but it's present. Shipping is $7.00 with checks or M.O.s welcomed--sorry I do not use paypal-type payments--Roy A.
