Rare Early Trade and Bird Bone Beads – Possible De Soto / Pardo Era (1500s)
Three genuine relics — all measuring about 3/8" long.
Two are hand-crafted bird bone beads, and the third is a brilliant teal blue glass trade bead, believed to be of the type carried by theThe Hernando de Soto expedition (1539–1543).
These early trade beads are highly sought after and seldom offered for sale. Though the exact find spot is unknown, these came from a frame of authentic artifacts purchased in Morristown, Tennessee, roughly 15 years ago.
