This is a very well made Turin point made out of a fossil chert. The chert has some nice oolites in the matrix.The base is ground across the proximal edges on up into the notches. This one is very well made and it just has a great overall look. eliptical cross section, excrvate lateral blade edges, concave base . A fine early archaic point. Upper midwest ex Caruthers.
