Sharp and Pointy Martindale
One of my favorite point types is the Martindale. It hails from the early Archaic, (8,000-5,000 BP). Also called a Bandy in Southern Texas, Many times It's expanding base in unique in that it is formed by two curves meeting in the center. This particular specimen doesn't show that characteristic well, making it look more like a Wilson, which is every bit as old.
