Outstanding example of a rare Rex Rogers point from Coryell County. The base is heavily ground with triple thinning strikes at the base on each side and horizontal transverse flaking. It is thin and well flaked with some cliche still on the blade. The lateral edges show heavy use wear. It is made from a striking black chert similiar but probably not Brushy Creek Chert. This type is the same as the Rex Rogers point, the name changes based upon where it was recovered.
