If you've recently tried to purchase any of our items but were unable to do so due to technical problems please let us know so we can address the Issue. Named after Gypsum Cave, located about 15 miles East of Las Vegas, this point is a real masterpiece created by a Master knapper. Dated 2,000 B.C. to 800 B.C., it has everything going for it! It's Serrated, Wafer thin, doesn't have any flat unworked areas, no Stacks, the size is good for the type, it's a great example of diagonal flaking & it's got Patina to spare! Note the light color edges that indicate this point has spent a great deal of time partially submerged in a possible lakeshore environment. We have no problem assigning it a grade of G9.5. It would've made a G10 had the symmetry of the shoulders matched a little better. Points of this grade rarely come up for sale & are even rarer to find. It comes with a Western Typology COA.
